Distilled in 1987, this extremely rare single malt Bunnahabhain spent 31 years in refill hogshead #2463. Bottled by Berry Bros & Rudd, only 72 bottles have been filled exclusively for the Exceptional Casks series.
Tasting Notes
The enchanting nose gives dried fruit notes with apricot and honey coming to the fore. There is a trace of peat-smoke. The palate is layered, again rich with building intensity as the elements displayed on the nose develop. This is a beautifully intense Malt with the honey notes stretching long into the finish
