We bottled this mighty single cask Ardmore in celebration of our 15th Anniversary and what a superb dram it is. As we wrote in the 70cl description, it's a big dram and reminded us of a Ben Nevis sherry bomb we bottled in the early years of Abbey Whisky. Originally bottled from a leaky Ardmore cask, we've only got a small qty of these 10cl sample bottles available and makes for a great opportunity to sample if you missed out when first launched. Cask #2607 was distilled in 2009, mature for 14 years in total and bottled at cask strength, 56.7% vol.

Nose
Huge, uncompromising aromas of new leather, hog roast, prunes and peat bog barbecue barge out of the glass, complexity builds with strawberry jam, cigars, and liquorice.
Palate
This theme continues on the palate showing grilled pork, alongside Frazzle crisps, with lashing of fig jam, prunes and espresso.
Finish
The finish rolls on and on with bacon fat, peat smoke and dried fruits. An extreme, energetic whisky, this dram will swim with jellyfish infested lochs, cycle a hundred miles and still fancy running a marathon over two munros!
