The oldest release within the second batch of special single casks from GlenAllachie distillery, matured for 18 years in single PX cask #4152. Distilled 28th February 2001 then bottled August 2019, only 307 bottles have been filled at cask strength, 55.1% vol.
Tasting Notes
GlenAllachie 2001 Cask 4152 Producer Notes
Colour: Mahogany.
Nose: Orange zest and green apples, with hints of dark chocolate and cinnamon.
Taste: Honeycomb and barley sugar fused with layers of raisins, treacle, orange peel and sweet spices.
