Matured in Spanish and American oak sherry butts, Old Pulteney Spectrum WK217 is the third and final release in Old Pulteney's series featuring and honouring fishing boats registered at Wick. Released as an exclusive to the travel retail market and bottled at 46% Vol. 100cl bottling.
Spectrum WK217 was built in 1920 and made famous as one of the first Wick drifters to use a pioneering type of fishing called Anchor Seine Netting. She was also used in the second world war for harbour service duties.

Appearance: Dark copper with bronze highlights.
Aroma: Full bodied, sweet and spicy with traces of vanilla, green apples and raisins in the background.
Tasting Notes: Sweet to start with notes of citrus fruits and sherry; complex and well balanced with a long lasting finish.
