Added to the core range at Arran distillery, Quarter Cask 'The Bothy' was initially matured in first fill ex-bourbon barrels then transferred and given a further maturation in small quarter casks. These smaller 125 litre casks allow much greater contact with the wood, resulting in a quicker and more intense maturation. Bottled up at a rather nice strength of 56.2% vol.
