An unpeated Islay single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 2009 using 100% organically grown Scottish barley and matuted in American oak casks for 8 years. The entire process in creating this Islay malt, from barley to bottle has been organically certified by the Biodynamic Association.
Tasting Notes
Bruichladdich Organic 2009 Tasting Notes
Colour: Dawn on wet sand.
Nose: Candied orange and lemon, beautifully floral. A touch of marine spice and citrus.
Palate: Deliciously creamy with the barley notes very much to the fore. Finish – A hot toddy.
