Matured in a combination of French Bordeaux wine, cloudberry wine and Swedish oak casks, Bärnsten is the fifteenth release in Mackmyra's Moment series.
Each release in the moment series has been handpicked by Master Blender Angela D’Orazio from some of the most exclusive casks at Mackmyra distillery.

Mackmyra Bärnsten Tasting Notes
Colour: Golden yellow with amber reflections. As usual, no coloring have been used.
Nose: The aroma is rich and fruity, slightly smoky and spicy with hints of dried fruit, peat and juniper, leather and tobacco.
Palate: The taste is fruity, smoky and spicy with aromas of dried fruit, tobacco leaf, oak, citrus and vanilla. The aftertaste includes dried fruit, spicy herbs, tobacco leaf, and a slight saltiness and smokiness.
