Mystery Dram 3 - Revealed
First of all, apologies in taking so long in updating the mystery that is, Mystery Dram 3! It's been a busy old year with various shenanigans getting in the way!
(Did we tell you about our new website and latest release, Anon. ? ;) )
Anyway, apologies aside... What was Mystery Dram 3?
Not a Scotch whisky this time, it was in fact from South Africa... The wonderful & award winning, Bain's Cape Mountain, distilled at The James Sedgwick Distillery!
Colour: Warm, golden amber.
Nose: Combination of toffee, floral and vanilla aromas.
Palate: A hint of spice softened by the sweet undertones of oak.
Finish: A warm and extended mouth-feel with an exceptionally smooth finish.
So how did you get on? Lot's of correct answers on it being a grain whisky but did anyone guess it was Bains?
Slàinte
Ps - Keep an eye out for Mystery Dram 4, it will be out very soon, just bottling up as we speak!
