Next up in our series of 15th Anniversary celebration bottlings is this mighty single cask Ardmore! We rescued just 92 bottles from leaky cask #2607, it's a big, bold Highland dram and not for the faint hearted. We couldn't resist bottling this dram, it reminds us of the Ben Nevis we bottled in the early days of Abbey Whisky. Filled to cask on 25th June 2009, reracked into a Amarone cask in April 2022 and then bottled in July 2023 at an impressive 56.7% vol.

Awards
Nose
Huge, uncompromising aromas of new leather, hog roast, prunes and peat bog barbecue barge out of the glass, complexity builds with strawberry jam, cigars, and liquorice.
Palate
This theme continues on the palate showing grilled pork, alongside Frazzle crisps, with lashing of fig jam, prunes and espresso.
Finish
The finish rolls on and on with bacon fat, peat smoke and dried fruits. An extreme, energetic whisky, this dram will swim with jellyfish infested lochs, cycle a hundred miles and still fancy running a marathon over two munros!
