This special single cask was released as part of the Na Sia single cask collection from Isle of Raasay distillery, a six cask collection of drams showcasing the casks used to create the single malt produced at the distillery on Raasay. The distillery combines peated and un-peated spirits in ex-rye whiskey, chinkapin oak and ex-Bordeaux red wine casks.
This single cask release was distilled 25th January 2019 using peated spirit then laid to rest in virgin Chinkapin cask #19/64 until 8th July 2022 with only 243 bottles filled at 61.6% vol.
Na Sia translates to 'The Six' in Gaelic.
