The third release of Balvenie Tun 1509, created from 31 casks in total; 12 sherry butts, 11 American oak hogsheads and 8 refill American oak butts, all distilled between 1989 and 1993. Vatted together for several months in Tun 1509, which holds 4 times as much liquid as it's predecessor, Tun 1401. 8,850 bottles released worldwide, bottled at 52.2% abv.
