Macallan Amber 1824 Series
Orange zest, raisins, honey & apples. Slight floral & vanilla notes with hints of spice, possible cinnamon. Tropical fruits and toffee coming through the warmer the whisky gets... More vanilla, hints of almond.
Soft & smooth, sultanas, raisins, creamy sweet toffee, golden syrup even. Citrus lingers at the back of the nose with green fruits and delicate spice.
Very gentle spice & pepper notes. After a good swirl of whisky around your mouth, the flavours coat your taste buds well, decent length. Slight bitter orange notes with added sweetness, toffee apples.
Toffee apples at the fun fair, but a lot more fun. Personally I would like to see this bottled at a higher strength to add just that little bit more punch.
