Following the success of last year’s Sauternes cask release, Ardnamurchan return with a new and exciting twist, this time bringing together their peated spirit with the richness of Sauternes barriques. Distilled in 2018 and initially matured in bourbon casks before a finishing period in Sauternes wine casks, this luscious whisky has been bottled at 50% ABV. The result is a whisky with a golden, mouth-coating texture, where sweet wine influence meets the distillery’s signature coastal, earthy peat. A beautifully balanced dram, perfect for lingering over as the seasons shift.
