This 5cl miniature contains the first release of Balblair’s 2005 vintage, bottled as part of the distillery’s former practice of using vintages rather than age statements. Distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2016, this Highland single malt was matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks. It displays the distillery’s typical style, with notes of orchard fruit, citrus, vanilla, and light spice. Presented at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour.
This miniature offers an opportunity to sample or indeed collect a discontinued vintage from Balblair’s earlier core range.
