This superb new release from Daftmill distillery was distilled in 2007 using Optic barley and matured in ex-bourbon barrels located in the upper levels of warehouse one. Daftmill 15 Year Old 'Fife Strength' was bottled in 2023 at 56.3% vol, exclusively for the independent whisky retailers of the UK.

Nose
As this example of Fife’s finest matures, it develops an inviting creamy nose, with enticing notes of apricots, vanilla custard and cardamom pods.
Palate
The palate offers more creaminess with flavours of crème brûlée and Werther's Originals. Some distillate driven peaches appear with orchard fruit and a light pepperiness towards the finish.
Finish
There is a good length on the finish, with lingering spiced butter and shortbread. This kind of complexity only comes with age – a fine reward for Francis’ legendary patience.
