Dailuaine 17 Year Old - 2008 | Cask 303793 | Woodrow's of Edinburgh
Bottled by Woodrow’s of Edinburgh, this 17 year old Dailuaine single malt has been drawn from a particularly characterful 2nd fill ex-Oloroso sherry hogshead, a cask that previously nurtured Mortlach spirit before being refilled with this robust Speyside malt. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2025, only 222 bottles were filled at a natural cask strength of 58.7% vol, free from chill filtration and artificial colour. The influence of the seasoned sherry wood brings layers of rich dried fruit and spice while allowing Dailuaine’s meaty, full-bodied spirit to shine through. A superbly balanced and distinctive single cask from one of Speyside’s most quietly impressive distilleries.
