Dalrymple (Ailsa Bay) 2012 Single Cask | Little Brown Dog Spirits
A 2012 vintage Dalrymple (Ailsa Bay) fully matured in a 1st fill Oloroso sherry butt then bottled by indie bottlers, Little Brown Dog Spirits. Classified as a 'blended malt Scotch whisky' as this single cask was apparently 'teaspooned' (adding a small qty of whisky from another distillery). LBD have added in a few a few subtle hints to the label, showing a granite teaspoon, with the granite representing Ailsa Craig, a small isle that's located across from Ailsa Bay distillery which is quarried to make curling stones!
This looks delightful, a dram certainly not worth missing out on! Released in 2023, bottled at 56.8% vol.
N.B - Final bottle, please note slight tear on label (see image). Liquid still tastes great! :)
