Bottled by independent Scotch whisky bottlers Glaschu Spirits Co, this limited single cask release GlenAllachie has been fully matured in a first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead. After 10 years of ageing, the result is a rich and indulgent Speyside single malt, with layers of sticky sweetness, dark fruit, and soft oak spice. Just 282 bottles have been filled, each presented at a natural cask strength of 56% ABV, without additional colouring or chill-filtration.
The label artwork pays tribute to the legendary Ecurie Ecosse racing team, a Scottish outfit from the 1950s that famously won back to back 24 Hours of Le Mans races. Featured are the team’s iconic Jaguar D-Type and C-Type cars, alongside their distinctive transporter bus parked in front of GlenAllachie Distillery, an evocative nod to Scotland’s racing and whisky heritage.
