A single cask Caol Ila distilled in 2012 and matured for 12 years and bottled from a red wine hogshead by North Star Spirits as part of Cask Series 026. This cask strength Islay malt offers a distinctive take on the distillery’s maritime peat character, with the red wine cask adding a subtle layer of complexity along with wonderful fruity flavours. A limited independent release offering superb value for its age and style. Cask strength, natural colour & non-chillfiltered.
