Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2025, this 13 year old Laphroaig was released by independent Scotch whisky bottler Woodrow’s of Edinburgh as part of their Warehouse Reserve series. Drawn from a French oak Oloroso sherry cask (Cask #222), only 263 bottles were filled at a natural cask strength of 58.6% ABV.
Non-chill filtered, natural in colour and bottled without compromise, a standout example of Laphroaig’s bold, characterful spirit, beautifully elevated by sherry wood.

Awards
Nose
Coastal smoke, salty brine, damp wool contrasted with sweeter undertones of apple, lemon and a hint of demerara sugar.
Palate
Heavy and oily, with a medicinal note of iodine, charred wood smoke, and sea-salt. Rich layers of prunes, dates, and toffee are interwoven with spiced notes of nutmeg, cardamom, and orris root.
Finish
Long and powerful, carried by spices of nutmeg and star anise, underpinned by a damp mustiness.
