Distilled at Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull and bottled by Dràm Mòr, this 16 year old Ledaig was finished in a 1st fill Koval Rye barrel, producing only 148 bottles. This single cask release marries Ledaig’s maritime peat smoke with the sweet, spicy edge of rye cask maturation, a bold and deeply characterful whisky. Think late Winter barbecue in Scotland, thick cut smoked bacon on white hot coals, finished with a drizzle of maple syrup. Beautifully presented in a decanter style bottle, bottled at natural colour and unchillfiltered, it’s an exceptional dram that captures Ledaig’s smoky, savoury charm in full.

Nose
Softer peat than the classic Ledaig. A very warm and welcoming nose invites syrup sponge along for the party and a gentle just blown off candle smoke.
Palate
That late autumnal BBQ with a thick slab of smoked bacon cooking over white hot coals but were are not finished yet. It wouldn’t be the same without a drizzle of maple syrup over the top. An incredible dram.
Finish
What I would refer to as an archers finish. You can draw your arm back all the way, just like the finish but it’s the distance the arrow flies that tells you all you need to know about this wee beauty!
