Distilled in 2011 at the Linkwood distillery and matured for 11 years in total, initially in a hogshead cask then re-racked into a cask that previously held the finest of Oloroso sherry. Released by Wine & Spirits Merchant, Berry Bros & Rudd, this special release was bottled in celebration of Chinese New Year 2023. This fine Speyside dram was distilled in 2011, the previous Year of the Rabbit. 459 bottles filled from cask 314464 at cask strength, 52.6% vol.

Nose
This delicate Speyside, re-racked into juicy ex-Oloroso wood, is a warren of flavour. The nose offers apricot jam, figs and underripe peach, growing into spiced creamy carrot cairn.
Palate
The palate builds beautifully from fresh fruit into rich dried fruitcake. The addition of a little water and delving deeper reveals more fresh peaches and coconut, along with further wood spice.
Finish
The finish delivers a lasting medley of spices, fruit jams and hot crossed buns.
