Distilled in 2013 and matured in wood for 8 years with some time being spent in a Madeira cask. Only 275 bottles have been filled from cask #7526, filled at cask strength, 57.9% vol.

Penderyn 2013 Vintage Cask 7525 Producer Notes
A warming spicy nose offers notes of sweet Madeira, Victoria Sponge and lashings of golden syrup. A little time in the glass allows the distillate to power through bringing some green apple and barley sugars into the equation. The chewy palate shows a good balance of sweet sticky dried fruit notes from the cask balanced off with fresher citrus bursts and perhaps a little nuttiness on the back palate. A well made whisky that delivers well in the powerful cask.
