Distilled November 2012, this 12 year old Glen Elgin was initially laid to rest in a refill hogshead before being re-racked in February 2021 into a 1st fill bourbon barrel for a second period of maturation. Bottled in 2025 at cask strength, 58.6% ABV, just 217 bottles were drawn from cask #807736.
Malt Norge Private Cask #1, affectionately nicknamed 'Squirrel' is another excellent single cask pick from the Single Malt Dreams, a bottler that has built a reputation for high quality casks that rarely linger on shelves for long. As with previous releases, the bottle is finished with a stunning label featuring artwork this time by Jeffrey Graves.
