Bottled under the Decadent Drams label, this 23 year old Old Pulteney offers a glimpse of how an old official bottling from an alternative timeline might have looked. Distilled in 2002 and matured in a refill barrel, it was bottled at 56.2% ABV, with just 222 bottles released. This is a rich, distillate forward Highland malt, waxy, coastal and full of quiet authority. The texture is generous and nourishing, with maritime notes and subtle sweetness carried effortlessly by the mature spirit.
