A distinguished and well aged Glenrothes, fully matured in 1st fill sherry hogsheads and bottled at 51.5% vol. A rather exciting dram as this is one of Whisky Souls' first Speyside single malt releases and it really is excellent. It delivers layers of dark chocolate, black cherry, and roasted hazelnuts, unfolding with velvety depth and finishing long and warmly. A characterful dram that reflects the richness of sherry wood and the rewards of patient ageing.
