This 10 year old Speyside blended malt, known as Lagmore is in fact a teaspooned single malt from a well regarded but undisclosed distillery in Speyside. Fully matured in 1st fill bourbon barrels and bottled at 48% ABV, this is one of the first independent releases from this estate. Bright and expressive, it delivers notes of crisp pear and fresh apple, with hints of vanilla custard and warm pastry in the background. A vibrant Speyside dram full of charm and character. Really is an excellent dram and as always, bottled at very good value from Whisky Souls.
