Optic barley grown in Daftmill's South fields, harvested in late August 2006 and stored on the farm before being malted in Alloa during the summer of 2007. Distilled in the winter season and filled into a first-fill ex-Heaven Hill bourbon barrel on 20th November 2007, this cask was selected by Kirsch Import for the German market and bottled in 2020.
