Surely another fantastic Caol Ila release from Oliver Chilton and his team at Elixir Distillers, each previous parcel has been excellent. Parcel No.11 has been crafted from a small batch of four refill sherry butts distilled in 2012 at the Caol Ila Distillery and aged in cask for 11 years. Bottled at 48% with no added colour or chill-filtration.

Rich, smoked toffee sauce with creamy vanilla ice cream. Sweet charred wood with a touch of sea spray and blackcurrant.
Palate
Dense with piles of coal smoke and vanilla. Hints of stem ginger and charred lemon skin.
Finish
Tannic notes of Earl Grey tea intertwine with the lemon and lingering peat smoke.
