Dailuaine 16 Year Old - 2009 | Ex Peaty Islay Cask - Little Brown Dog Spirits
An exciting single cask release from indie bottler, Little Brown Dog Spirits and one that certainly stood out for us when we first read about the cask details. Distilled in 2009 and matured for 16 years, this single cask release has been matured in an ex peaty Islay cask! We find these types of combos so intriguing, seeing the spirit from one distillery being matured in another distilleries cask, wondering what the history has been and what was contained in that cask previously and where it sat for so many years!
The label has been designed to represent the old Dailuaine locomotive on the Speyside line. As ever with Little Brown Dog, this single cask has been bottled at cask strength, natural colour and non chill-filtered. Pretty good value for a 16 year old single cask as well.
