Distilled at the Glen Moray distillery in 1992 and aged for 24 years in single cask #2950. Bottled in 2016 by Independent whisky bottlers Càrn Mòr for their excellent Celebration of the Cask range. 260 bottled filled at 49.8%.
Tasting Notes
Glen Moray Single Cask 2950 Tasting Notes
Appearance: Pale gold.
Nose: Crisp, clean grassy notes followed by sweet vanilla. Fresh butter. Lime juice. Grapefruit, gooseberries. Hint of mango.
Palate: Follows the nose perfectly with clear, wine-like crispness. Very grassy. Straw. Huge dry Riesling minerality. Revisiting reveals grapefruit juice and light acidity.
Finish: Long, warming with plenty of black pepper.
