Lightly peated and double distilled, this is the latest annual release of the stunning Kilkerran 16 year old. Crafted from Campbeltown single malt matured in a combination of sherry (60%), bourbon (35%) and rum (5%) casks, then released August 2023 at 46% vol.

Nose
We are welcomed to this dram with notes of Iberico ham, along with notes of tinned pineapple, green apples and demerara sugar.
Palate
Coastal notes reminiscent of the seaside and shingle beaches, along with hints of lemon yoghurt, ground pepper and a touch of peat smoke.
Finish
There is a freshness in the finish and the peat smoke influence endures in notes of toasted marshmallows.
