Dark Briar is a bold and richly styled addition to Lochlea’s core range, building on the character first explored in the Fallow Edition. Matured in a carefully balanced combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry butts, alongside Port casks, this single malt brings together depth, sweetness and structure. The cask selection gives Dark Briar its darker, more indulgent profile, with an emphasis on rich fruit and warming spice, while still allowing Lochlea’s house style to shine through.
