Distilled in 2014, this Royal Brackla single malt was finished in an American oak Oloroso quarter cask and bottled at 54.1% ABV. Bottled by indie bottler, Thompson Bros, this delightful malt has been presented with a Ross-shire wrap around map label, this is a fine example of sherry influence meeting Royal Brackla’s refined house style.

Umeshu, fallen leaves, pumpkin skin, lots of autumnal niceties, moving onto red fruits, dried strawberries and cranberries, and preserved plums
Palate
A nice thickness to the spirit with the sherry finish adding lots heft, panettone, Sun-Maid raisins, 60% dark chocolate (of the fruit and nut variety), frozen red grapes
Finish
Long with old wood, herbs and orchard fruit
