The third batch of Wee Mongrel from the good folk at Little Brown Dog Spirits and the first to be released as a 70cl bottle! For Wee Mongrel Batch 3, LBD have bottled at 21 year old whisky that comes from ex-Edrington stock matured in Oloroso and PX sherry casks. The previous bottlings of Wee Mongrel come with a stellar reputations so for a new bottling to receive the Wee Mongrel label it must be delightful liquid within. Original artwork by local artist, Katie Watson, Wee Mongrel Batch 3 has once again been bottled at cask strength.

There's a certain Edrington-y-ness to it perhaps, total guess of course.... Raspberry Jam, panettone, nutmeg.
Palate
Whisky and sherry, you know, I think this could catch on. Dark cherries, dark chocolate, light tobacco.
Finish
Red fruit tea.
