Distilled in 2008 at Old Pulteney Distillery in Wick and bottled by Dràm Mòr, this 18 year old Highland single malt has been finished in a 1st fill Oloroso quarter cask. Bottled at 49.5% ABV, with just 88 bottles drawn from cask #Z084, this is a highly limited single cask release. A follow on from a previous Pulteney release from the same bottler, though with a more sherry-led approach this time. The use of a quarter cask allows for greater interaction between spirit and wood, bringing added depth while retaining the distillery’s coastal style.

Awards
Nose
Delicate dark dried fruit notes leaning towards a very subtle candy apple and milk chocolate.
Palate
Much richer on the palate than the nose. A very approachable soft sherry sweetness with integrated dried fruits, a handful of orchard fruits and a hint of cinnamon bun with pleasing hint of oak just starting to show.
Finish
A short to medium finish which bows out gently leaving the memory of a deliciously balanced dram.
