A single second-fill barrel of 1995 Caperdonich, bottled by Decadent Drinks as 'Gone Grant' at natural cask strength. Just 150 bottles. It’s very much in the mould of the earlier Gone Grant releases, because distillate from this era has a properly old-school character. Given enough decades in wood, it comes together in a waxy, honeyed harmony we keep coming back to.

Nose
A wealth of green, yellow and slighly overripe exotic fruits, balanced by a big, textural impression of various honeys, a lot of classical waxiness, and greener, sharper notes which maintain freshness and vibrancy.
Palate
Really creamy, waxy, some drying peppery notes, cedar and sandalwood qualities, dried herbs, eucalyptus, lemon rind and dried exotic fruit notes. Luscious, mouthfilling and beautiful.
Finish
Medium length, dominated by drier waxy notes, crystalised honey, warming hints of vanilla, dried banana chips and camphor.
