This is the third release in the much loved limited edition series from Arran Distillery, personally selected and signed by Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman. Arran Signature Series Edition 3 is an unpeated 12 year old single malt, initially matured for six years in a mix of 1st and 2nd fill bourbon barrels, before being finished in 1st fill Spanish red wine casks. The final maturation took place in Dunnage Warehouse No. 4 at the Lochranza Distillery, where the whisky developed its rich, layered character. Crafted and aged entirely at Lochranza, this release showcases Arran’s hallmark style with a bold twist from red wine cask influence.
Bottled in 2025 at a generous 50% vol, non-chill filtered and natural colour.

Nose
Bright with caramelised fruit and hazelnuts. Slight note of salted caramel and zesty grapefruit rind.
Palate
Full bodied and plenty of complex mouthfeel. Oak forward with dark red berries and creamy vanilla. A little ginger, sweet spice and aniseed.
Finish
Long, complex and mouthwatering. Vanilla and toasted oak lingers with a real sweet candy side. Delightful!
