Originally released exclusively at the Bunnahabhain distillery, Islay, this unpeated 11 year old single malt Scotch whisky was aged for an initial 8 years in American oak bourbon casks, then transferred and finished for a further 3 years in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Filled from cask at 54.6% vol with an outturn of only 833 bottles.

Colour: Deep gold
Nose: Hints of dried fruit and toffee, chocolate (A 'Trio' biscuit for those growing up in the 80's), honeyed nuts with a gentle spice.
Palate: Dried fruit with hints of dates, raisins and figs, soft salted toffee, and caramelised nuts, hints of ginger and nutmeg.
Finish: Long lingering fruits and nut finish.
