Released to mark Edradour’s 200th Anniversary, Enigma No.1 is a 35 year old single malt drawn from a single 1st fill Oloroso sherry butt, distilled on 27th September 1989. Matured for over three decades, this release exemplifies the depth and richness that long sherry maturation brings to Edradour’s spirit. Bottled at 52.6% ABV, non-chillfiltered and natural in colour. One of just 498 bottles, Enigma No.1 stands as a rare and contemplative whisky, released alongside its companion cask, Enigma No.2, to honour two centuries of craftsmanship at one of Scotland’s smallest distilleries.
Enigma No. 1 is housed in a beautifully crafted wooden presentation box complete with a set of crystal glasses.
