Released as part of the third batch of drams within the Wood Finish series from GlenAllachie, this Speyside single malt was matured for over 9 years in American oak barrels then given a further maturation in Pedro Ximénez Sherry Wood. Waves of dark chocolate, plantains and sultanas on the nose, dark chocolate, treacle and heather honey on the palate, sounds delightful.
