Masterly crafted by Master Blender, Billy Walker, this well aged single malt GlenAllachie has created from a combination of 1989 and 1990 vintages matured in Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso sherry hogsheads and puncheons alongside a small quantity of Chinquapin virgin oak casks. A small batch release, bottled at cask strength, 48.9% vol. Expect layers of dark chocolate, fruit cake, raisins, honey and figs, with treacle, orange zest and nutmeg.
