We can only sell alcoholic beverages to consumers of at least 18 years. By placing an order with Abbey Whisky you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, and that you meet the minimum legal age for purchasing alcoholic beverages in your country of residence.
TAXES & DUTIES
Alcoholic products sold by Abbey Whisky are subject to UK taxation. If we are sending products to countries outside the EU you the purchaser may be subject to local import taxes. Such charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. The purchaser should check with their country of residence local customs office for details of such charges. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you will need to contact your local customs office if you require further information.
In the event that the order is returned due to non-delivery Abbey Whisky gives the purchaser the option of resending the purchase at the purchaser's expense or refunding the purchase less Abbey Whiskies postage and packaging costs. If any orders receive any additional duty are seized or impounded, we cannot be held responsible.

We do not deliver to PO boxes. Goods sent by Abbey Whisky always require a signature upon receipt, and we give fixed price domestic and international shipping costs based upon product size, weight and destination. Subject to stock held, domestic mainland deliveries are sent using next day delivery services except for Weekends. European deliveries usually take 3 to 5 days and other countries usually take between 4 and 14 days.
We sell rare whisky and others as collectable containers which it is and not its contents. This is the normal method of sending such rare products. Please note we ship a fast and secure service to most countries worldwide, although delivery of such products is prohibited in the USA & Canada. If you choose to have your order delivered to the USA & Canada we cannot guarantee delivery. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so we advise you to contact your local customs office if you require further information and before you place your order. All UK deliveries are covered for loss and damage. International customers please contact us after placing your order if you require insurance. If you do not contact us within 1hr from payment being taken we will assume that you do not require or have your own in place. In the event that the parcel is delivered damaged this should be reported immediately whilst the delivery is being made to the delivery driver and within 3 hours of the delivery by email to Abbey Whisky It is important to comply with this requirement since failure to do so as detailed herein will render the responsibility for the costs involved to be that of the purchaser and not Abbey Whisky.
Purchasers may cancel the order by informing Abbey Whisky up to seven days after receiving the delivery. Goods must be returned unopened, sealed and in original condition together with the original invoice within 7 days of the date cancelled. Abbey Whisky will refund the purchase within 30 days of you notifying us about returning the product. The cost of returning the product is the responsibility of the customer.
The cost of returning the goods to Abbey Whisky and the liability for damage or loss in transit is the responsibility of the purchaser.
Abbey Whisky endeavors to ensure that stock control is up to date and make sure that the stock content on the web site is accurate. In the unlikely event that an intended purchase is out of stock Abbey Whisky will inform the purchaser promptly. Prices and specifications may change without notice, and products are subject to availability.

The bottles that Abbey Whisky stocks, are sometime very old and sometimes the labels and packaging may not be in their original condition. By placing an order with Abbey Whisky, you confirm that you understand this condition. Our display pictures are always done with great accuracy but if you would like confirmation for the condition of individual products please contact us before placing an order.
As a Swedish purchaser processes the purchase of a whisky through this web site no postage charges will be added to the total. Swedish law precludes us from charging & posting to Sweden under the distance sellers laws.
In order to ensure that we are compliant with Swedish Law we have received quotes from reliable independent sources who will arrange for the whisky to be sent to your address. You need to pay them direct and they will arrange for one of the major courier companies to deliver to your address in Sweden. Once your order has been accepted though our web site we will send you details of one of the independents.
