Batch 2 of Adelphi's Islay 10 Year Old returns to Caol Ila, one of the most consistent distilleries on the island, matured in Oloroso casks and bottled at 46% ABV. The distillery's signature meaty, coastal character is met with the dark fruit and tannin that Oloroso casks bring, creating a pairing that's hard to argue with. Part of the second batch of Adelphi's trio of accessible releases, it sits alongside the Private Stock Reserve and Speyside 10 Year Old as a whisky built to be bought, opened, and shared.
