After the reception Batch One earned last year, Ardnamurchan return for 2026 with Batch Two of their AD/ Heritage Barley Release, and this time the batch has been split in two. This is the ex-bourbon half: an entirely bourbon matured bottling drawn exclusively from the weighty, oily Golden Promise distillate laid down in 2018. It carries a full 8 year old age statement at a natural cask strength of 58.6% ABV, and extra time resting in the distillery's dunnage warehouses out on the peninsula has lent it real roundness and depth over last year's release. Its foil is a fully sherry matured version of the same barley, built to sit right beside it. Shelf space permitting, they're best enjoyed together.
