Following on from the 2022 Madeira bottling, Ardnamurchan are treating us to another excellent dram. This is the second batch of AD/ Madeira Cask Release but this time the distillery have used unpeated and peated single malt (roughly 60/40 split). Initially matured in bourbon casks, then re-racked into Madeira casks for just over 2 years. Vatted just before the whisky turned 7 years old, this latest Ardnamurchan release has been bottled at 52% vol, unchill filtered and at natural colour. The tasting notes sound excellent and as ever, we're very much looking forward to trying this dram, another exciting release from Ardnamurchan Distillery.
