This latest cask strength expression from Ardnamurchan distillery is the oldest batch to date! Like previous years, it's been produced from peated and unpeated Highland spirit, matured in bourbon and sherry casks. A large proportion of whisky is peated distillate filled into bourbon barrels the early part of 2017 along with unpeated bourbon casks from 2016 and sherry butts from early 2017. We're repeating ourselves from previous batches when saying 'you really can't go wrong with cask strength Ardnamurchan' but it's true, a bold and assertive dram, just what you want from a distillery located on the west coast of Scotland.
This latest 2025 cask strength expression from Ardnamurchan has been bottled unchill filtered, natural colour and filled at 57.7% vol.
