The Bothy Batch 3 from Arran distillery, matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, then transferred and given a second maturation in smaller American oak casks. The Bothy pays homage to production of Arran malt in the eighteenth & nineteenth century, were smaller casks would have been a common feature of the Arran whisky trade.
