For this latest release from Elixir distillers, a batch of five Oloroso sherry hogsheads have been combined to create this Highland single malt. Distilled in 2012 at the Ben Nevis distillery and matured for 10 years in cask, then bottled at a generous 48% vol.

Nose
Chocolate, caramel and toasted hazelnuts all pile out of the glass while an undercurrent of walnuts and dates give an indication of depth.
Palate
Milk and nut chocolate bars starts a journey initially on the richer sweeter side completed with creme caramel and a hint of orange bitters for balance.
Finish
Oily and dense with the citrus coming through and lingering alongside coco nibs and milk coffee.
