The multi-award winning 10 year old expression from Benromach distillery, crafted from first fill bourbon and sherry casks. Benromach Distillery is owned by Gordon & MacPhail and since launching this 10 year old whisky it has received many awards, including a gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
N.B - This bottle arrived to us with a slightly wrinkled label hence the slight reduction in price and addition of branded tasting glass! The liquid still tastes great.

Nose
Gentle smoke, spiced ginger, lots of stewed fruits, apples, raisins, figs, even a touch of prune? getting sweet pears the more the dram warms up and airs.
Palate
Creamy, lots of ginger and wood smoke. Quite a mouthful. Lots of dark chocolate & bitterness, lemon zest, slight biscuity/malty notes.
Finish
Superb value for money, so complex & developed for an entry level dram. Really enjoyed this, my new go-to dram for now!
